Light Healing

Similar to the problem we had in early EfU:M, there's almost no light/moderate healing to be had from quests, in my experience. If either more of this could be added to the existing quests, or if some of the old quests could be recycled into this setting until more fitting quests could be added to Old Port, it would be great.

Is there nowhere to buy medicine bags?

Fist

There is for very cheap.  Cheapest on the server, to my knowledge.

There is plenty of healing, and if your lacking buy from brewers. You can get more healing in Old Port then you can in Ymph.

Valo56

Yes, there is healing herbs. Every character I've made since Mistlocke fell has had great difficulty getting any sort of supply of healing, however. It's even worse than it was back in the beginning of EfU:M. Maybe this is just bad luck on my part, but it's getting old having to tell my group on almost every quest "Hey guys, that was my last cure minor potion, I'm out." Other people seem to be having similar problems as near as I can tell.

Not all of us have hundreds or thousands of gold either, Zango, to spend on brewers. I could MAYBE buy one serious healing potion or two moderates right now, but I'm struggling to stay above 50gp.

I have a pc who travels between Ymph and Old port consistently and thats a /large/ chunk of change in the current climate, if you need money do the quests that give money, start selling loot, make connections, work on gathering coin and when you have healing be cautious with it.

My current pc was made after the fall and has been surviving in the harsh environments of Ymph and it should be known that Old port is a pay state, as in gold is always filtering up with licenses and fines for damn near every thing. Corruption is ripe, if you want to get rich in Old Port to afford healing and to get healing, you'll need to work for it more, then in ymph where you had the marching dead for 50 clw potions and thousands of bronze wands from rubble searching.

The current environment allows for more battle over resources and removes the possibilities of the 30 minute potion chugging duels we've seen in the past. So personally? I like it.

I'm always on my last healing totem. I've found that it's been just enough, personally.

I'm not asking for dozens of CSW every quest.. I would just like to not worry about how much light healing I have. The 30 minute chugging fests are horrible, yes (I've never had enough supply to stand up to most anyone, so I'm biased), but equally bad is when you never have any healing, as is the case with my characters and I believe several others.

Just yesterday I went on a quest, one guy went down, we looked between each other and were like "Well, we've got nothing, dude, better hope you stabilize."

Thankfully he did.

So again, not a million blur/haste/CSW potions. Just a decent supply of the old tarnished brass wands and light healing potions as used to be available to most low level characters. Please?

Ebok

Oh. I'm sure we're going to see those come in when EFUm ends, the 350exp a tick drops back to 40exp, and the beginner quests are re-added. At this moment, I believe the lack of healing certainly hurts, but in some ways it makes other "medic" characters extremely viable. I'm sure that like in the past, lewt will grow and grow.

I kind of love this though.  I would enjoy a return to a complete lack of crap healing, where medicine bags are more prominent.  If we're closer to that now, then that's a great thing.

I'm not sure this thread is really worth continuing, but another thing I'd mention to players who might not be aware is that the sewers of Old Port are literally paved with minor healing potions...

If you get my drift!

NecropolisV

I like the idea of more healing items. Even with them pcs die enough to keep us in a healthy range lol cure minors are nice for after battles but during that's just asking to get AOP'd for more than you healed. I like survival mode, but as it is I would rather hunt rats forever just to gain a level rather than risk goblins hoping herbs and cure minors will see me through, my dude has herbs and a good heal score but during battle its not worth trying, because 9/10 that AOP is going to do more damage than 4 hp. Its not asking much for cure lights in the least.

Deadlykate

Look at this way, healong brewers are 10 times more valuable. In this new experience you are relying more on other PCs.
