The Numinous Order of Brethren Votarient is an ancient and isolationist order that has evolved over the centuries to be part of the history of Ymph and that of Old Port. It's tangibly written into the very setting and the Order truly heralds itself as the saviors of mankind in the face of manifold omens and Apocalypses, and hails itself as the originator of Torm, Tyr, Ilmater, and Helm, whom they refer to as the "Three and One" and believe them to be in mystic union, one out of many.

 There is a lot of OOC material on the forums and IC material in the library, so I won't go to deeply into details about them, but they are always recruiting. The damned criminal looking to be redeemed, the holy knight seeing the truth of the Order's philosophy and fighting against the End of Days, the Heretic Priest finding illumination, the chef who wants to ensure the Order is well-fed and thus have high morale, a bard who sings of their deeds and a esoteric monk seeking enlightenment in the mists that seem to haunt their footsteps. Many concepts and deeds are welcome in the Order, and there are NO ALIGNMENT RESTRICTIONS- and many concepts are welcome as long as they are able to subscribe to the Order's Grim philosophy of the Doom of the World. The only requirement is that you accept the Three and One as the Creators of Man and the masters of Heaven.

As well, the Numinous Order is firmly pro-human, believing in the divinity of mankind as opposed to the lesser creations of the Three- everything else but the Heralds of the Apocalypse. As a result, only humans may join the Order, but do not despair, filthy half-elves may as well.

Tons of awesome going on right now.  Outer conflict, inner conflict, plots related directly to the Apocalypse, tons of DM love...

If you don't want the responsibility of being an Orderman, you can always join the Host of the Apocalypse and still be included in lot's of stuff.  It's like 'Diet Order'.
