First of all, could someone please invite me to the Stargazer forum? Thanks.

I believe there should be more starting gear available to new Stargazer pcs. For instance, the stats on the Jaguar gear are nice, but it's a
1 AC cloth... While my character is a ranger and would need at least a 3 AC armor to be decent in fight. Because of this, I'm forced to either use the ruined chainmail available at the starting area, buy the armor from the gazer merchant (258 gp), or look out there for a decent armor. I'm guessing any Stargazer warrior would have at least a decent light armor to begin with, else how would they have survived so far? :p

Also, two beginner quests in the Eeyrie are unclear. The one near the roots is druid only but it isn't mentioned anywhere, and in the other you are supposed to look for a bush nearby but the npc doesn't make any mention of this, or of anything else for that matter (she simply talks about telescopes).

Having played a stargazer ranger/fighter myself, using cloth isn't all that bad, you can drink a mage armour potion for the AC.  What I gathered was in general stargazers do not wear armour aside from basic leather hides, you can still use other equipment I guess but it's more of a thematic thing to wear your tribes native dress.

Thats because the bush quest was an old quest just moved, alot of the talking in the Eyrie is odd, like how they call stargazers outsiders.  I agree with the armor thing.  Before when you apped often you got +1 leathers or studded leathers or some custom leather type tribal tunic.  Since it's automated now, you get crappy tribal tunics and are expected to survive in a very hard and hostile environment.  Sure it's fine for bards or sorcerers but for melee classes it's a bit silly, I mean your own people charging you 300 gold for a tunic that most stargazers would have when they are not supposed to value gold very much either.

I also think that druid only quest should be open to all stargazers.

Howlando

The Druid quest is opened up to everyone. Stargazer starting outfits are now a lot better.

Thank you! Another suggestion: the Eeyrie permanent storage chest can only contain 5 items max. Could it be increased to 15? I mean, the Muster got 3 chests of 15 items max each, lol.

Y'know, there was a time where Gazers did not have any of that, and they were still good. They are a disliked, straggling race. If you wanted the loot you worked for it, and begged the DMs to give you one piece of minor loot.

What I am saying is this was not neccesary and you should be kissing Howland's feet for doing this.

Thats really silly to say and add about nothing to this post.  Thanks for your supreme input.

There was a time when no one had anything of what they have now.

Can you please define "good"?

Suggestions are good. Keep things on topic, and stop the silly remarks.

I think things are going great with us!  However, i would request the reward for that formerly druid only quest be altered a bit. Two out of three runs i receive druid/sorc only reward.  However i very much enjoy that the item is usually unique to stargazers and flavorful, whatever power level.
