Thoughts About the Ill Companions

I disagree. I think what largely worked in their favor was their story. "Hey we're just a bunch of working stiffs trying to free/cure our families we have women and children" makes them very sympathetic. Quite a bit more sympathetic than "we r da best mercenaries giff us gold lol"

I guess that means my character's response to the Ill Companions' arrival was particularly fitting!

After realising they weren't marauders, Apocryphan's first thoughts in regards to treatments were, ... "How in the Weave of Magic can we cure them all? I've never attempted it, but I heard that Kelemvorite was coughing up blood and practically collapsed trying to cure just one person."

So he offered them a mass cure under the grace of Mystryl, if they would all convene and bring forth magical items as offering.

Of course, that ended up being unnecessary, though I hope the Ill Companions get more ill so such an opportunity can arise!

It is through Art, and through Art only, that we can realise our perfection.

Can't trust them green fellers.

Really, it's a lot of fun being jerks to them and getting it back. =]

I am going to close this. I really don't think a running commentary on an active faction is warranted. Points have been made.
