Need Schedule due to Timing Trouble

It would be really, really, really nice if we had some kind of calendar on EFUSL that could let you click on a day of the month and get the (server's local time) hour:minutes that sunrise and sunset will occur for those days.

I cannot help with this because I am bad at maths. That is, in fact, the same reason I cannot predict when the sun will rise in EFUA three days from now. As someone who likes to organize PC events, and would like to do one outside of the ziggurat at a time when it would be reasonable both for me and my character to do so, I believe my frustration is understandable.

I am with AScottBay.  Somehow I manage to log in during the "evening" almost every time.  And I play a lot! I love the new setting, but would love a way to know when the Sun is out and when it's not.

Maybe I'm just lazy, but it seems that everytime I log on it's Riser time!

...ah. Currently, with the way in which day/night is implemented, we will need to change that system first. It is in no way set up to work with a regular periodicity: only so that there is statistically an equal amount of day as there is night.

In hindsight, maybe this was not such a great idea.

I'll put this on my to do list.

Eh. Don't we have persistent time?

ScottyB

When the server resets, it is the same hour post-reset that it is pre-reset. If that's what you mean by persistent time.

We do have persistent time.  We could easy populate a "predicted" schedule that looks ahead a couple of days based on the current time, but things like crashes and extended downtime would futz that up.  I don't foresee that being a huge deal breaker though.

My mistake. Sorry.
