The Crimson Magician

I haven't made a death thread since EfU, so I figured I might as well make one this time around. There were more things I would have cared to do, but I'm happy with what happened with this character, and I had some immensely fulfilling roleplay.

The original idea behind Remus was to be a servant/grunt to a group concept with two nobles of the Mondragon family.

Humble beginnings

He joined the Muster in the hope of gaining more favor with the new mayor and maybe ensuring a sweet place to run the family operations from a new castle [Was looking into Old Stones and fighting Conglomerate and all that fun stuff] but when my accessibility to those 2 PCs ran out, I decided to still play Remus and redefine him in a way.

Being faithless was a big part of the character, as it basically defined his goals. With the Wall of Faithless and knowing that when a Faithless dies, he simply ends his goal was basically to become immortal, an escape from death, and he was pursuing that through becoming a cognizant, undead being.

A few choice roleplay moments that were really fun for me

You don't betray people and get away with it, it seems! :)[/hide]

I was actually super scared at this point, we were surrounded by beholders, and I wasn't confident that we could make our saves to avoid death. Really scary moment.

Naturally, anyone who looks for power joins the power-hungry Conclave, it seemed only a natural fit, and I became Sarportenus Thalavar's consort. "Fear and Survival, a strong bond."

We actually managed to do some good things, I think

This is just a final point of advice: I really recommend exploring the server. This last picture is one such outing that resulted in a lot of cool experience, supplies, and roleplay that was very fun and satisfying! EfU:M is bigger than Mistlocke, but that's what everyone says.

As for thanks, that goes to the DM Team, they really do a lot, especially ShadowCharlatan, for the past couple of months that I've been back, he is in the forefront keeping EfU dynamic and entertaining! Also, the Mondragon family, without you guys I would never have played Remus in the first place, the Conclave members for being a very conflict-heavy and entertaining group to watch and be a part of [They are like the US Congress, really], and Sarpotenus Thalavar especially from the Conclave, as the best friend to be had and to trust in, and Gejja Sambru for a surprise (but fun!) ending.

Catch ya on the flipside, guys.

Jagged

Looking at his quickslots I see why he lost in PvP.

Awesome portrait, by the way. Too bad he lost his Lordling and other servant.

Bad to the bone. I had a blast in the early days with Remus, and it was nice to see his development later on, going from a dutiful manservant to a badass consort. Cool stuff man.

Canzah

Didn't interact much with him, but Remus always struck me as a solid character!

Looking forward to your next one.

The Old Hack

I liked Remus a lot and I am sad to see him go -- he was awesome. But all good things come to an end, I guess.

Hoping to see a new one soon! :)

el groso

Very cool toon! Let's see what comes next, bro! Cheers

Deception

I loved the concept of Remus and the great portrayal of his composed and cold nature.

Pentaxius

Good char, I liked the way your portrayed him as a reserved, mysterious introvert. It also felt like he had a feint touch of sadness with him at all time. A very credible character.

SkillFocuspwn

Cool PC, was great to RP with you
