Part Time Player

Since I've started playing EFU again I've found that my free time is a lot more limited than it used to be and I'm only online a couple of times a week and some weeks not at all.

Also not playing regularly at any particular time means I rarely see the same players online.  Because of this, it's sometimes difficult to establish lasting allies and enemies, get heavily involved in factions and keep up with plots.

Now my question to you guys is, what sort of character concept would you suggest to players that don't play so often?  I'd say a character that is fairly independent and not too heavily involved in politicking or any one faction.  Yet still entertaining to play and capable of making an impact.  People who play alt character would probably have some good ideas for this one.  Fire in, ta!

I recommend an association (Muster, Aberdenn, Caermyn) character. If there are other people in your association online when you log in you can roll with them and if not, you are the go-to guy. It's a win-win!

• Archaeologist / Cartographer: Plot out areas of the server you've never properly explored, or follow leads on locations rumoured to hold something interesting. Whenever you're online, gather people to join you on expeditions, or just do some solo mapping when nobody is about.



• Private Investigator: Delve into the current affairs amongst the village, identify key problems or things worth pursuing. Investigate, conclude, report.



• Eccentric: Scholar, mage, entertainer, buccaneer, or any other individual with a flair for what they do. Pursue your goals with a mind for showmanship. Some will enjoy your efforts, others will detest them. Enemies and allies, easily made.
