...something

Something needs to happen. I dont know if the DM team is waiting for a big plot or some sort. But as it is this is Mistlocke: You are safe in this town, and if your outside of this town, you deal with horribly strong monsters and creatures, and the withering. If you stay inside mistlocke you don't need to worry about that stuff, there is nothing out there other than quests and exploring(which can be sometimes dull and unrewarding). But if you stay in mistlocke, you get to be bored, because there is no big involving plots going on. I think something needs to change.. because its beginning to be repetitive and boring. Just my opinion, though.

Why do you not try to begin a plot yourself?
Most enjoyable characters:

EFU: COR
Tristan Caerfal (NG Human Sharpshooter)

EFU:R

Durga (Half-Orc NE Cleric of Ilneval/Fighter)

EFU:M
Marion Sileyna (Human LN Cleric of Loviatar/Fighter)
Atreia Kelten (Human Paladin of Tyr)
Riku (NG Stargazer Ranger)

Thats not what I am suggesting, and because I have tried to lead and failed many times.

Usually when there is an absence of activity it means the DMs are too busy trying to solve problems in the bug dimension, answer questions, want players to start plots of their own or are preparing for something big.
Give it time good saers.

The main job of the DMs should be overseeing and assisting PCs where able to set up their own plots, some of which should indeed make Mistlocke and its close environs unsafe.

You can't expect DMs to constantly be running DM plots. Eliminating the boredom in the village is up to PCs.

Although I haven't been in game, I've heard there are severe lack of villainous PCs - therein lies the problem, at a cursory glance.

It's been rather quiet lately. AR is right, there's no villains. I never even saw the Duergar, sadly. I haven't so much as seen anything beyond a simple duel since I got back a few weeks ago, as far as I can remember, much less a mugging, assassination or even tavern brawl (Edit: There was a bit of PvP against a goblin, now that I think about it). There was a little DM run orc raid the other day, which was fun.. it was the first time one of my characters went toe to toe with a Chosen of Gaathmar without pissing his pants and running away like a little girl the moment it looked at him. :P (I survived, too... somehow)

We have adventurers, a growing Muster, a group of Bounty Hunters forming. There's the Order, Wyrm Watchers, Clans and Brotherhood of Mercy. Even the Conclave has taken a decidedly non-evil (though definitely not good, more lawful) stance. The bad guys? Murdertown, Nightrisers, H'bala and her armies. If you're looking to play evil, to be a villain and start some plots, I think doing so on behalf of one of these three groups would be a good way to go.

I'd try to put something together (I do have a few concepts in my head right now) but I'll be going on vacation soon, so.. it'll have to wait until the end of the month before I try anything. Maybe I'll join with any groups someone has made before then, though.

Of course, there tends to be a lot going on in the background all the time. Sometimes a few people are unlucky and are just left out.

(Careful about Murdertown, though.. won't be long before you're making Fort Saves vs PAIN! :P jk, it's very fun)
