Give Animals AE

When I AE a random wolf in the middle of its pack, the entire pack jumps on it and rips it apart as if it were a Tormtar dealing with a traitor, drawn and quartered.

If animals can be given Animal Empathy across the board so other animals don't attack them, it'd be grand (Though, if you AE something powerful, other animals give Respect and move away, so it isn't really needed).

Interactions between animals are handled through factions, not the AE skill. When your ranger or druid walk up to a pack and AE a random wolf, not only is it correct in a mechanical fashion that the other wolves attack (change of faction, hostile vs PC) but it is also the correct behavior. Wolves are territorial and pack creatures, anyone outside is seen as a potential rival and wolves do attack other wolves who stray upon their territory. When you AE one of them, you essentially make the wolf a part of your pack and so an intruder to the others. While you may be left alone, wolves do tend to target or single out the weaker members first.

I would rather question what druid or ranger with so deep ties and knowledge of nature to walk unmolested upon pack territory would intentionally seek to challenge a wolf pack in this fashion, causing the impending death of one or all of its members. It does not strike me as being a part of the natural world or the Balance. For a wolf pack that purposefully attack, it makes absolutely sense that any swayed wolf will be turned upon by the rest.

Ah, I did not think of it this way, Talir, thanks you for the response.
