THE BARON'S BLADES MERCENARY COMPANY CONTRACT
Year of the Starving, 1381 DR - the 28th of Tarsakh

This contract signifies the founding of the Baron's Blades Mercenary  Company.  Once signed it binds their loyalty to Baron Haseir Pashan and  Clan Caermyn.  Below are the following terms of the contract:

1.  The Baron's Blades Mercenary Company shall be granted all the rights and privileges of a member of Clan Caermyn.

2.  The Blades shall enjoy any benefits received from alliances and associations forged by the Baron.

3.  The Baron shall sell any goods he obtains to the Blades at a 25%  discounted rate.  This includes armor and other necessary equipment.

4.  Any goods obtained by the Blades shall be sold by the Baron on  behalf of the Blades, granting them 80% of the profit.  This is a higher  percentage of the profit than what is offered to the general  population.

5.  The Blades shall be exempt from giving collateral to cover any loan  taken out from the Baron, though if the individual who takes out the  loan is unable to repay, the Blades itself shall find itself responsible  for repaying the loan.

6.  The Blades shall regularly bring the Baron information and knowledge  of the goings on around Mistlocke, its high profile individuals, and  its factions and associations.  In exchange the Baron shall pay those  who bring him such information 25 to 150 ducats depending on the value  of the information that they bring, with the potential to earn more for  vital and important information.

7.  The Baron shall negotiate all contracts and other agreements on  behalf of the Blades, using his considerable talents as a merchant to  ensure that they always get the best deals possible for their services.   The Blades may not officially take any contract that the Baron or one  of the Caermyn Family has not consented too.

8.  The Blades shall provide the Baron with protection and other such defenses to ensure his safety and security.

9.  The Baron's Blades shall regularly patrol the Market Hall, keeping  the peace, and dealing with any potential thieves and trouble makers.

10.  The Baron shall make regular use of the Blades ensuring that they  are constantly employed, and as idle as little as possible.

11.  The Blades shall maintain discretion and secrecy regarding all of the Baron's dealings.

12.  The Blades shall pledge their loyalty to Clan Caermyn, and will be expected to represent the Clan in a positive light.
