So, where to start?

First of all, I should say that Aers is my second serious attempt at Role Playing a character here in EFU, other than Beatrice, who was my first character.

His concept is something I gave much thought, however, I know you don't want to read a novel, so I'll give you the short version of it and then move on to the screenshots.

QuoteAers was born to a small town by the Sword Coast. His father was the local ranger of the woods, who taught him the ways of the rangers. However, when he became 16, he left for Thay, where an uncle of his lived. He wanted to become a big important fellow in the city, however, due to the hardships and debts of his uncle, more than once he had to do rather ilegal taks. There became his career as a rogue. Suffice to say that by the time he got dragged to Ymph he had earned a fine reputation, working as a mercenary for a rather dark wizard. His actions in Thay lead him from his initial Chaotic Good aligment to being Chaotic Neutral. However, his actions and development in Ypmh moved him closer towards Good once more, though he didn't achieve it before meeting his end. Oh yes, and he worshipped Oghma as his patron diety!

Now, on with the screenshots!

The Red Dragons strike a deal with Warlord Morn and Master Merchant so that they'll fight for Mistlocke in the Stonehand Scars battle against the Rubies, in exchange for a very nice reward which included land and a building for their headquarters.

Ez'kus gives a speech to raise the Red Dragon's morale before the big battle at the scars.

The Red Dragons rally by Muskroot's to lay out their strategy and march towards the battle.

Victory. The battle was won and none of the Red Dragon members died in it. Aers talks to his fellow members in the Mist End's, congratulating them on their work.

Unfortunately, soon after the battle, the Red Dragon company was exiled. He's Aers with Ez'kus, right outside the Enclave, which served as their new temporary base of operations.

Aers stayed with the Red Dragon company a while after they had been exiled; these are some screens of a time when the group along with some others tried to hunt down an undead wyrm; things didn't turn out too well.

Aers and the Red Dragon company helped Saul deliver an old book to some ancient temple of Amaunator hidden somewhere in Ymph.

Aers left the Red Dragon company and went back to Mistlocke; These few screenshots are from such a time, when he was trying to find a new place for him.

Aers is named publicly as the Captain of the Baron's Blades and admitted into clan Caermyn. Though his time as Captain was short, due to events that took place later, and which have been screen-captured, so you'll see!

The identity of the Prodigal Son was discovered due to Tanya and Blue being attacked by him during a fight against gnolls. Alistair of the Brotherhood, who was in truth a follower of Cyric. Here you can see Aers and some others planning to capture him.

Aers met the wildlings and some members of the Stewards of the Ark during one of his travels and ended up helping them and even becoming a friend to some of them. This would later on lead to his downfall as member of the Caermyn.

Here's Aers in the temporary Grove after the DM event regarding a dog fight that took place in a farmland. The Wildlings attacked and tried to stop the dog fight from taking place and things got out of hand. Aers stepped in to defend the Wildlings and ended up exiled from Mistlocke due to it

Aers made the grove his new home once he was exiled and started to comune with nature and the ways of the woodland rangers once more.

Random exploration related screens

The following two screenshots capture the moment when Morn came to the grove looking for Safiya, who had been uncovered to be a lycan and was being hunt down. Things got tense for a moment, but in the end, violence didn't take place.

Aers helps Father Mororn destroy a book of evil magics

Aers and a group of people march to face Mist Ogres

And now, screenshots depicting the final battle against the Rubies, where Aers lost his life.

Aers died at the hands of a Ruby (and of lag ¬¬) within the Last Keep. This is him in the Fugue plane as he readies to step forth into his patron's deity realm to live his afterlife.

Last but not least, two screenshots of the only special loot he managed to get throughout his adventures and misadventures on Ymph.

-The End- (of Aers that is :P; many thanks to the players and DMs that interacted with my characters and made him fun to play).

Canzah

I really grew to like Aers! A shame to see him die, yet not a bad place to do so.

Looking forward to your next creation.

Kinslayer988

A very nice character to have around.
<SkillFocuspwn> no property developers among men only brothers

chrijone

Traitor! Very nice character :)

Porkolt

Dude! Mororn wasn't the one who destroyed that book. I had to spend an hour convincing a paladin to let my LE conjurer actually do something about it while you guys were horsing around and causing more trouble.

Granted, I rigged it to send more demons at you after I was gone, but still.

Anyway! Nice run. Excellently developing character.
