I know Charon personally and she is an excellent and FAST tattoo artist and travels throughout the east coast.

She also swallows swords in a traveling show. It's hard to get more badass than that IMO.

A tattoo of a beholder would be awesome, IMO.  It's interesting to look at, can be of varying size, and would lead to an interesting conversation with anyone who saw it.  Also, it's instantly recognizable to anyone who has played D&D.
