Instead of Gold, Might I suggest a collecting of herbs?

Gold is not precisely hard to come by as a Wilds PC, but it is definitely an issue at times when we want our withering reduced.

And why would a druid want gold for a withering reduction exilir?

It would make a lot more sense for him to ask for various herbs, hellebore, mandrake root, etc...instead of simply an X amount of gold.

A boon with flavor.
Like the taste of burning childr- chily!

Underbard

Thomas, that's a damn good idea.

Well, make it an OPTION, like a And OR situation. Or have Kanntu send PCs out to gather ingredients for the exilir. Like Grizabella's old druid gathering quest, but instead of a piece of loot, we get first dibs on the cauldron of withering reducer!

I like the herbs idea. It goes well with the conversation on how he makes the elixirs. Wouldn't be too much of a stretch I think for him to give one elixir to you to drink if you help lessen the work he has to do to make a large batch.

Decimate_The_Weak

Yes, but then... everyone will know how to make it. :O

Herbs are cheap. Especially for wilds PCs. To allow this means that they have the ability to grow a near infinite supply of costless remove curse. Bad idea. If you don't need gold so much, then save it and use it for Kanntu.

Craft wand and potion for druids cost gold, same deal really.

Egon the Monkey

I'd disagree because herbs are a bugger to find these days, THey were introduced for aclchemy/herbalism but Kanntu's buffs and the gathering quest have turned them into a sort of wilderness currency meaning patches get ripped up fast. We don't need more reasons to take them.

Kanntu asking for gold isn't to go spend it on full plate, but to use this pure natural element in the creation of the elixir?
