Attract more new players

I say it needs to be a mission for this server to attract more new players. I say increase the amount of players that can log in as well as to make missions to get more people logging in.

This server needs new blood and new role players. I think players need to go out to other roleplay servers and attract them to this one. Efu is by far the best roleplay server and we should make it a mission to attract every serious dedicated roleplayer.


Therefore I say that EFU have some kind of mission to attract more new players, and allow the server to hold as much people as it possibly can. Lets face it the more the merrier. We as players and DMS have to make it a mission to get more people interested in EFU.          


I would like to see feedback on what other people think of this idea. More players=more roleplay=more plotting=more flavor. I am wondering what exactly the EFUM community of players and DMS plan to do in order to attract more players to this server.

I'm hoping this is just more trolling.

The idea of going onto other servers and trying to convince their players to move over to EfU rubs me the wrong way. If you've got friends on another server you'd like to suggest it to that's another story, but actually logging into another server with the  intention just finding roleplayers to convince to leave in favor of EfU seems immoral.

Please do not hassle other servers. We might consider advertising on the BioWare forums or the NWVault and general NWN community.

As a relatively new player (to both NWN and this server only been here 1 maybe 1 1/2 years) I think the server speaks for itself.  I suggest we keep encourageing those that come to check us out. (For example I found someone in game not so long ago with the name "kill joy" so I sent then a Tell explaining a bit about the game and names etc.  I suggested the forums to him etc... they were friendly and said they were just checking us out and soon they logged out to explore our forums).  The only thing I might suggest would be to have in big obvious font something like "ask for help if your new"... or maybe a "chat channel" ig that newbies could use and more experianced players could help out.  Kinda like a dm channel without bothering a dm.... or if a dm sent me a tell and said "hey Niven if you're not too busy there's a new wilds char at camp could you give a tour" I could say yeah or nay depending on what I was doing at that time.
