Crossroads: Tree Issues

Quite a few trees, particular on the eastern half of the map, have been placed a little too close to the cliffsides and are now garishly floating a few metres above the ground! Would be worth checking the area out for more, too, but I passed three I noticed.

I think the effect is supposed to be that vines/foliage is growing out of the cliff, but if you come close to the cliff then the cliff disappears so it looks like a full tree is growing there. So I dunno.
