I've been using Warcry for a while on Benes, and I must say - it's really a powerful perk. In fact, I don't know if it's not too powerful, compared to other perks replacing Turn Undead. I understand TU is major class benefit of a cleric, but...I just feel like the damage should be lower. It might not seem a lot, 1d8 sound, but it's damage that can't be saved against.

Mort

Wait. So you're an Ilmateri with War cry?

When I devised this perk, I sort-of had it in mind for Tempurran, Garagosian, Red Knight, Uthgar, Barbar'ish' clerics who would balance this strength by just sacrifying other advantages through roleplay (i.e. never running away for a Garagosian -- or other must be badass warlord requirements).

With the hardship of portraying a WAR priest in mind and its requirements to be a good cleric, I don't think warcry need to be OP. You're doing yourself a disservice by taking it with an Ilmateri, however.

It's AB bonus doesn't stack with bless IIRC, or some of the other spell types. I forget since my cleric of Garagos died.

Technically a Deadite/Battlepriest of Three, Mort. And no, the Bonus stacks with bless.

ExileStrife

Next time you use it on an Ilmateri cleric you'll have a chance of spellfailure.  Or will you?

Up for debate, I think.

The Deities of The Order are arguably more militaristic than their depiction in the Triad Orthodoxy.

Nuclear Catastrophe

It's still silly picking WAR CRY as a cleric of the dead.

This is the description for the Dead :

QuoteDogma: Embrace suffering as it brings you closer to the death which comes, and thus drives away your fear. Do not deny others suffering for fear of them growing soft and coddled, but do not stand by whilst others suffer unduly. Death is a happiness, for the dead are delivered into the arms of the Unbroken.

Doesn't really sound war-priesty.  They really do mimic their regular-Faerun derivatives.

It would have made sense for a priest of the Risen more.
