RwG wants -you- To join him in a swift, magically powered, fire death.

I shall say in no uncertain terms- The Transcendant Conclave is the greatest faction on EFU for an egocentric showboat like RwG. While the Sabuthans have the glorious Sandbox nature of the Docks, and the Armada has the lovely tyrannical presence, The Conclave has versatility.

With a faction based both on research and magical control there is potential for a wide array of PCs and Concepts, and the inter-faction conflict is some of the best possible on the entire server. And I am hoping to be cranking that up to 11.

An LN Azuthan who recently lost a Paladin Consort there is undoubtedly some LE business on the way.

I am looking for a PC interested in playing an Azuthan. That's really the only caveat.

Example concepts: An Azuthan Monk preaching the discipline of Magic and helping crush the heads of those deemed irresponsible of Magic and Renegade. An Azuthan Cleric building a following of responsible, magical faithful with a fire-and-brimstone approach to those who shirk their responsibilities with the weave. An Azuthan Rogue, seeking to uncover the irresponsible failings of the Netherese, working as an explorer and archaeologist delving into the ruins.

And these are just three ideas off the top of my head to give a rough idea of the kind of thing I'm looking for. There's a wide array of awesome that comes with Azuth's dogma:

Dogma: Reason is the best way to approach magic, and magic can be examined and reduced to its component parts through study and meditation. Maintain calm and caution in your spellcasting and magic use to avoid making mistake that even magic cannot undo. Use the Art wisely, and always be mindful of when it is best not to use magic. Teach the wielding of magic and dispense learning throughout Faerun that the use and knowledge of magic may spread. Live and teach the idea that with magical power comes grave responsibility. Learn every new spell you discover and make a copy for the temple library. Do not hoard your knowledge, and encourage creativity in magic in all ways and at all times.

(As well things such as PRC's could easily apply the same, or a cool Subrace, if you put in an additional application to the DMs)

Furhtermore while I'm writing this up- Anyone who is interested in a group concept, Azuth is pretty awesome. So awesome in fact I wish there was more. I'd be glad to help an aspiring PC form a PC faction of badass azuthans or otherwise.

Toss me a PM on IRC and we can hash out the details. That said however there will be a small waiting period on when my PC will take another consort, given the nature and trauma of the loss of one. Make a PC, rock out, pal around, and we'll see where the RP takes us!

He's got the Azuthan symbol wrong as usual. The RwG version of it has the MIDDLE finger raised. Incidentally if you happen to want to play a Consort right this instant, Kross needs one. The more the merrier, with factions. Or the more the plottier. Or backstabbier. Or whatever. But yes. Join RwG, hilarity will ensue.

RwG is a good buddy to have. If you are floundering for a concept and want a steadfast ally, I highly recommend signing on. I can guarantee it will be a wild, if short lived, ride.
