Conclave Consorts.

So, we've got a bunch of new Caliphars in the faction, looking for consorts. If you've never played a Conclave PC before, now is a very good time to start. With the truce dissolved, you're more free than in a long time to treat the faction as a sandbox.

About the only restriction on playing a Consort is you can't be a druid, but anything else goes. The important thing is that your PC makes a good partner for one of the Caliphars. It's not [just] about being RAWRCRUSHBOT, but about helping each other accomplish goals by whatever means your PC is best at. Rangers, rogues and other sneaky PCs definitely have a place with us.

Remember, the Consort is a mage's equal in the faction, not his flunky. You have to watch their back, but it's perfectly possible for you to end up driving more of the plots for the pair of you (as I've done) or even being the one who does the research while your mage goes around fireballing his enemies!

Unlike most factions, it is rather difficult to make a concept with the aim of becoming a Consort, unless you don't care who you work with, or you organise it OOCly. It is however very easy to opportunistically join the faction, because so long as a Caliphar recruits you IC, it's not a hard app. So if you are interest, just meet up with a faction char IC and discuss joining.

If all else fails, perhaps you could apply to become the construct / bound planar that Amadeus holds as a backup plan.

Given that he is an elf, despite being held back in rank due to the consortless status, he has the patience of the long lived race so I won't make any OOC guarantees. It should all happen IC/IG.

Been waiting for a time to simply be inducted. As a consort any idea which dm oversee's such things? App got approved week or so ago. Been out of town since thurs-back on mon night. Black scroll and I tried for about a week to get inducted with no luck
