Rented room payments disappearing

Twice now I have put more days on a rented room of mine only to log in the next day and either find my days left reset back to what it was before I payed or as I found today the room instead rented out by someone else. I don't know why my payments are disappearing but in both cases though the time failed to add, the coin was still gone from my character from what I can figure because characters save more often then the server.
