New Illusion Spells

The new optional spells seem to be pretty awesome, especially the divination ones.

Is there a chance some new illusion spells could be added too?  (Particularly to round out the lower levels with more than invis and gv.)

Considering the lack of any direction for the suggestion, allow me to put some meat on to this suggestion. A lot can be done with the Illusion summons for noncombat purposes to act as Dancing Lights etc, but there's some others.

Ventriloquism
You can make your voice (or any sound that you can normally make  vocally) seem to issue from someplace else. You can speak in any  language you know. With respect to such voices and sounds, anyone who  hears the sound and rolls a successful save recognizes it as illusory  (but still hears it).

Have this work like the Scrying/Arcane Eye posessable thingy.

Disguise Self
You make yourself—including clothing, armor, weapons, and  equipment—look different. You can seem 1 foot shorter or taller, thin,  fat, or in between. You cannot change your body type. Otherwise, the  extent of the apparent change is up to you. You could add or obscure a  minor feature or look like an entirely different person.
The spell does not provide the abilities or mannerisms of the  chosen form, nor does it alter the perceived tactile (touch) or audible  (sound) properties of you or your equipment.
If you use this spell to create a disguise, you get a +10 bonus on the Disguise check.
A creature that interacts with the glamer gets a Will save to recognize it as an illusion.

This could be implemented with a head change like for the /c togglehood command along with a +10 Bluff bonus.

Phantom Trap
This spell makes a lock or other small mechanism seem to be trapped  to anyone who can detect traps. You place the spell upon any small  mechanism or device, such as a lock, hinge, hasp, cork, cap, or ratchet.  Any character able to detect traps, or who uses any spell or device  enabling trap detection, is 100% certain a real trap exists. Of course,  the effect is illusory and nothing happens if the trap is “sprung”; its  primary purpose is to frighten away thieves or make them waste precious  time.
If another phantom trap is active within 50 feet when the spell is cast, the casting fails.

This could spawn a scripted trap like the Invis Dispel Traps that look like an Electric or other trap, but have no effect at all.

Any Image Spell
Produce a variety of 1 HP RP long duration summons that appear as Commoner, Orc, Hunter etc according to a Craft Menu option.

Magic Mouth
Spawn a placeable that lets you record a message and will play it back once if a password or token or something is in your invent.

Rainbow Pattern
Complex effect, detailed here. There's a simpler way to implement though.

Spawn something like the Illusory Lights Summon, that has an Aura of Stunning and is invulnerable. Lasts for Caster Level number of rounds, requires Concentration.

ExileStrife

I wouldn't hold your breath for a big batch of new spells.

Egon the Monkey

Nope, but better to suggest anything that might be easy to do than leave the idea open ended :).

Barehander

I'm not sure if there's a direct counterpart to this in PnP, and I don't really care, but this is one illusion spell I've always wanted to have: something that works like the cleric spell Sanctuary, with the usual Will Save associated with illusions. 1 Turn/Level, applying the effect and making you look like a rock, tree or something else appropriate. If you move, you break the effect. (Alternately, you're rendered immobile but you can dispel the spell with a chat command.)

I'm not sure if Sanctuary turns you invisible like GS. In that case, it'd be a bit more complicated, dropping a PLC where you stand.

Drakill Tannan

Disuguise self would be an exelent spell for RP purposes. It could be done as polymorph self, only that it wouldn't add or take any stats or abilities, and the posible shapes would be human models of the NWN toolset. If it also allows spellcasting, then it's twice as awsome.

If you cast it twice...

Double rainbow...!
