Sun Elf Attributes

It's come to my attention after making a Sun Elf, who's adjustments are -2 DEX and +2 INT that they also lose the -2 CON as the base elven class does.

I wouldn't too much mind this if it was more clear before on the race-list, as it states;

--In addition, several adjustments are in place in order to account for default, hard coded adjustments. For instance, gold dwarves will receive a +2 Cha bonus to make up for the standard penalty, and most halflings have a -1 Universal saving throw penalty applied to cancel out Luck of Heroes. Also note that this information is subject to change at our discretion.--

Thus, Dwarves normally have +2 CON and -2 CHA, but Gold Dwarves receive a +2 CHA adjustment and still reserve the +2 CON, instead losing -2 DEX.

If Gold Dwarves receive a bonus to their charasma to equalise the losses and gain of the attributes of their specific race then why do Sun Elves not?

If this is supposed to be on purpose, then I'll understand, but after reviewing the race list there are no other Sub-races that do not require an application with the same extent of attribute.

So, my suggestion is, if it's a mistake, to adjust the code to place +2 CON to Sun Elves to equalise the minus and additions. Thus making it +2 INT, -2 DEX (To cancel out the base elf bonus) and then +2 CON (For the same reasons.)

Thanks!

Nickless

I'm not quite sure what you're asking here. Sun elves are to the best of my knowledge -2 constitution, +2 intelligence. The penalty to dexterity is used to remove the base +2 to dexterity elves receive as default.

This is, like, the best bug report ever.

Anyway, this is minor enough that I'll prod some other DM to take care of the mod work. The sub race page is already in the process of a major revamp.

Actually, Nickless is right.

Elves typically get +2 DEX and -2 CON.

Sun Elves get +2 INT and -2 DEX, thus cancelling out their natural +2 DEX from the base stats.

... Well, I'm glad I've come back to EfU just in time to make an idiot of myself.

Oh, he's right! There's no bug! Well, if it's any consolation, it helped me spot a different bug.
