Whispering Wind/Teleport - Stored Locations

I gotta say, I'm amazed at the system you set up for whispering wind and teleport, but a few things seem off, some probably unintentional, some maybe intentional.

First there's two problems, I may report more bugs/oddities later as I use WW a lot in the future (considering setting up a small message delivery service business on my new wizard) and eventually teleport.

The first problem is resting. I don't know exactly what happens but resting seems to clear your stored location list, however it is not permanently gone. It is either transitioning to a new area or adding a new location (more likely the latter, I think) that restores your stored locations. I'll test it today and see what it is.

The second problem is that you can only store 8 locations, from what I can tell. This seems unintentional as when trying to add locations past the 8th it says that the location was stored successfully, even though it can't be accessed. Now, while 8 locations is certainly a good number for teleport (infinite locations to teleport to may be considered overpowered by some, and I can understand why... though it is a level 5 spell, gained at level 9, or 10, so I would disagree, as it's MEANT to be overpowered, but oh well), for something like whispering wind it requires a whole lot more. I would like to suggest one of these two things to fix this problem:
-Preferably, have two separate lists for whispering wind and teleport. Whispering wind would have a very large capacity for stored locations, perhaps your intelligence modifier times your level, then multiplied by 1.5 if you have spell focus transmutation, or by 2 if you have greater spell focus. For teleport, it's your level, times 1.5 if you have spell focus conjuration, or times 2 if you have greater spell focus conjuration. Hence a level 9 wizard with SF Conjuration would have a total of 13 slots for storing locations. A good number, he can teleport to a good many places, but he's far from able to teleport anywhere in the module.
-Or just add in, as I think was intended, next/previous page buttons on the conversation so we can access the newly stored locations past the 8th.

It seems that simply transitioning restores your stored positions.

That's because there is a different list for each "region". It's possible, for instance, that the area you were in was bugged and didn't have its region configured correctly. If you're in the main island and your list is disappearing (or you're getting transition configuration errors) then please tell us about it ASAP.

There's my list. You see the area outside Kingsman's, Kingsman's Stall, the top of the Ziggurat, the trees infront of the citadel, the Mythallar room, the Warden's Plaza, the Warden's Arena and the table infront of the Wastrel... And would see the Wastrel, the Conclave, and a few other places but I ran out of space. The limit is intentional? Seems a bit silly to limit Whispering Wind (though as I said earlier, perfectly reasonable to limit Teleport), as it's not nearly as flexible or open to error, or anywhere near as powerful as Teleport. You have to know where someone will be at a specific time, usually only possible through their sendings, or perhaps, though scrying if you're high enough level. They're messages, speaking from a distance, and a message can be powerful but I would really like to see a bit more flexibility in this.

As for the region thing, though, are we able to teleport and send messages across regions? Or if I'm in the Island - Colony region am I only able to teleport or send messages to other Island - Colony areas?

Johannes

Island - Colony is not a region. Island is a region. And the spell is not about to be changed to increase its range.
