Just today 2 corrupted undead orcs animated by a level 10 wizard died miserably to a lizarfolk cleric, wich with one atempt stunned them both. Now, i get clerics should have power over undead, but considering the orcs are considerd to be powerfull undead, is it really intended for them to be turned that easily?

They have 4 FTR levels and 4 Undead levels, so they count as level 4 for turning purposes right? A turn resistance of 4 would make them faily resistant to turning: as any other level 8 undead would.

Just sayin'

The clerics are high level. They should be able to own undead

If the clerics are high level they will own the undead anyways.. if they are that high level. My suggestion is to merely give turn resistance equal to the non-undead levels so they count fully as undead for turning purposes.

I think it's an excellent suggestion, personally, and makes up for a weakness the undead orcs have that really they simply should not have.
