Any gameplay that these add is outweighed by how annoying they are. And people who die on the orcs quest ragequit because of them.

I suggest that they be removed.

Dr Dragon

The logs are great keep them. If you feel like rage quitting because U die and loose XP I have nothing to say.

Nihm

The annoying thing about these is that someone can interrupt the conversation with the log and "steal" the jump or climb success of the current person, this should certainly be fixed if possible.

Just make it a straight "click to jump" transition so you can use it in combat. Also, it's not the only way out, you can go the long way.

Porkolt

Of course, the long way usually contains Malar panthers and werewolves.

Agree, in wich case it turns into an advantage for PCs with high tumbe when orcs get out of the SQA.

I always thought that log was placed there to contain any orcs escaping from the QA and also to deny PCs a quick escape from the QA. I like that idea. You shouldn't be able to just outrun a horde of orcs.

This. Because like Drakill suggest, high tumble, acrobatic PCs can use this as an escape from whatever chases them, orcs, were-wolves, fat-chics, whatever.

I didn't think of this. :(

I rescind my suggestion.

Underbard

There is already plenty of ale so you don't run from the fat chicks, and the logs are sort of a pain the way they are now.
