I'll see your wolf and raise you a great lizard. I'd AEed one and none of my party had attacked it. It still tried to eat them. In the end I just hotkeyed the voice command for "Hold position" and spammed it until they went past, but that filled up the chatlog. Could we maybe have a /c stay command that will spam "stay where you are" to your associates for a minute or two?

The first thing you do when you AE something is tell it to follow you. This gets it to cancel all its attacks and actually follow you. Beware of allied players getting attacks of opportunity on it, as if it is attacked again it will defend itself. Once you've gotten it to follow you, tell it to hold position. Now, there's a command, I forget what it is (/c hostile none, I believe) to unhostile everyone on the server, use this. Also have your Control Companion Player Tool ready and keep that AE'd creature selected for it at all times, as they can be more unpredictable than panther familiars on other servers. Also, if you have your own Animal Companion, Familiar or Summons out, tell them to follow you and hold position, as they may also attempt to attack the AE'd creature.

And this problem isn't just with wolves, it happens with many different animals.
