Crime is in, and the Docks is shaping up to be the perfect place for all manner of shady dealings. That said, I’m looking to do crime right, a return to the days of the Upright Man and shady wererats, extortion, racketeering and drugrunning in all its forms. I’m looking to brew some Docks-Duchy intrigue, some inter-gang warfare in the Docks and make to build a legitimate business. We need muscle--thugs with the swagger to intimidate people into the 'right' line of thinking. We need thieves-- light-fingered folk who know what to take and when to take it. We need mages-- chemists and brewers who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty to make a buck.

This ain't Robin Hood. This ain't one more big happy gang to join the Docks cadre. This ain't trolling the Wards for someone to mug.

This is crime, and we’re hiring.

If I wasn't busy with my current PC I would join this in an instant, i've been wanting to play something like this for a while.  Sounds cool.

All the same, here's a rough idea of what we're looking at here.

Plots being pursued would affect the Docks heavily, the Duchy less so. There will be extortion, racketeering and gambling. Drugs will be pushed. And naturally, there will be the heist, the long-time goal to work towards.

Alignment: Neutral to Evil. Lawful Evil could fit nicely, Chaotic Evil less so but still doable. Up to you on how you wanna play it.

Deity: Any dark deceitful god is welcome.

Needed
Wizards/Sorcerers- with a penchant for alchemy/herbalism. We plan to market some pretty sensitive merchandise, and we’re going to need the resources and knowledge to make sure that we don’t waste time trying to produce them. The more we can make on our own, the less we have to rely on DMs, the more we can do on our own time.

Thuggish rogues- Intimidate/Persuade/Bluff would all be crucial for this kind of group. People who you â€"think- are going to break your legs are more likely to get respect than actually doing it. While more violent concepts are welcome, it should be a last resort if we’re interested in making this group last. It’s never too late to have a bad day and lose it all in pvp, no matter how good you are.

Enforcers- Barb/Fighters who like gold and aren’t too squeamish in what they do to get it. When diplomacy fails and things go south, these are going to be the guys who get into the thick of it, with plenty of sneak attack support.

Salesmen/Con Artists: The merch don’t sell itself. Once we’ve got the product, we need to move it. More persuasive bards/rogues could fit into this mold pretty well. Flashy fliers, catchy sendings, gimmicks, slogans, rhymes…anything to keep the product in the minds of the customers.
