Spawn point: Outside the walls suggestion

I realize this area isn't supposed to be 'safe' but there IS a spawn point set right there. Last night I logged in and just 10 feet from me there was a yellow muck creeper that almost killed me shortly after logging in.

That wasn't the first time I've logged in to almost getting ganked by the NPC's in that area either.

No idea what should be done about it, but I think you should be able to login to any spawn point without fear of being killed before you finish logging in (even in a wilderness spawn point).

I think that happens when someone somehow drags a mob near the spawnpoint.

I know of one particular point I've used that actually warns you that the particular spawn point may be dangerous.
