I like that the old EFU characters cannot respawn.  

Can there be some object in the area where you set your deity to set this bit on a new EFU:A character?

It wouldn't have to do anything else but a XP bump for forsaking the way of the respawn might be nice...  

Not trying to turn efu into nethack or anything...

If you want to play hardcore, just don't respawn. This is a rare exception to the rule that scripted solutions are always better.
