Bomb Arrows turning into Ice Arrows

A PC vendor had a stack of 10 bomb arrows on the ground (the on hit: level 1 fireball ones), and my PC purchased them.  Upon picking them up, they turned into Ice Arrows (+1 cold damage), yet refused to stack with my other Ice Arrows.

This is very strange, and most definitely a bug!

You mean like 12 Hatch 14 Hatch 13 Pool? I've never heard of anyone going 14 Hatch before anything else.

There are some major issues with the Bomb arrows, if they're the same as can be bought from an NPC I'm thinking of. Last time, it was Fire arrows I think.

The beta.  14 hatch is really quite safe except from gasless early pressure.
