For some reason, when Kazkiir and Belm were killed, we were both subdued at around 30 hp.

"Amigo, you just wrote my epitaph."

The Beggar

I've seen this happen before where the ping or lag spikes and the numbers are crunched before the visual effects (HP visually decrease, HP bar decreases, etc) occur. Perhaps this didn't occur here, but it does happen.

Mort

Probably lag not updating quick enough. There were a lot of people attacking you IIRC.

Otherwise, I have no idea how this could happen since the subdual script is tied to the death function in NWN which is hardcoded.

I've had this happen to me as well during a duel with Veridon not so long ago. I healed prior to even being hit, but was still subdued with 42 HP left after the heal.  It was a serious heal from a wand only, so it couldn't have possibly been me hitting 0 then getting healed back up to that much.

The DM on scene stated that he thought it was strange too, but that it was the call of the PC I was dueling as to whether I could get up and continue.

I was allowed to get up by the PC and the duel continued, but it was still strange!

If what happened was the same as what Alyssara just described, then it's not really a bug, just an engine quirk.  Like beggar said, It's pretty much the system recognizes you using healing but the attack roll that would have killed/subdued the PC goes through the system before the actual healing effect is fired. The healing is processed directly after but the system still sees it as a death hit just because of the way it handles events, so the PC has HP left but gets subdued.
