Wooded Ruins quest

This quest lists the maximum group as 8 but wouldn't let more than four go as of about 5 days ago. A little late and it hasn't been retested, sorry.

The last time I tried to do this quest, we took 5 people.  When a DM was asked about it, he said that a cap of 4 was almost certainly the intention and that it was mislabelled.

Given the short length of the quest, and the nature of the quest, I'm inclined to agree.

I disagree, for if the intention is taking this quest, or, 'exploring an ancient ruin' people tend to take more people and any IC explanation of reasons for not taking more than four would be lame . Also, the place is not that easy to get at.

I fail to see how it is any harder to get to than Harpies, one of the most commonly done quests for that level range.
