New Summoning System

EfU:A has adopted a new system of summoning on a trial basis. It is currently in its ALPHA phase of development, and features may be subject to change throughout the course of the trial. Please be patient with us during this transitionary state.

Specifically the system may allow the summoning of several creatures at once. Each caster, based on his or her level, is granted a certain number of summoning points to spend. Each summon is worth a different number of summoning points. A caster may conjure summons up to the number of summoning points available. A caster should not summon in excess. Doing so will cause the summon to go rogue and attack its caster.

The system is currently not implemented with Shelgarn's Persistent Blade, but you can expect that this will be fixed soon. Additionally, summons from items (deliberately) do not support the summoning of several creatures and the control of these is automatic.

On a relevant note, Animate Dead has been modified so that zombie summons are semi-permanent. They do not disappear when the summoner rests and are likewise affected by the new summoning system.
