Waterarea- Docks-> Wyldwater

Would be cool if there was a waterarea that connected the docks to the big waterarea you can access from the wyldwater beach(not sure what the area is called).

Right not there doesn't even seem to be a way to dive into the water in the docks, which is kind of weird.

Actually shouldn't be too long a swim, since when you go to the water in wyldwater you walk first away from the colony, then you make a turn in one area and walks back towards it, just on the other side of the water. It looks like that at least.
Even if it would make for a little longer swim than usuall there are always bubbleberries. Not to mention some chars.. Hint hint.. Might find this way the most suitable to go to wyldwater.

The Foothill path is farther away from the Colony than the single transition separation would have you believe.  The Wyldwater is on the far side of the foothill path. You're probably looking at at least a mile long swim.

Not an impossible feat, I suppose, but still not a super-likely one.

I think you are forgetting that transitions to adjacent areas do not mean you are only taking a few steps. Some transitions take you long distances to their destination!

Many of these areas are very close to each other (You could exped retreat to one end of the island to the other in less than 15 minutes or so!)  But Geographically, the isles are fairly large!

While they are not extremely far, such an underwater passage would need to be fairly large, and would require many, many bubbleberries for non aquatic races to traverse safely! Maybe scripted transitions that will shave off 10-15 rounds of breathing time to simulate a long swim, which would cut the need for a 16(or higher) by (?)  grid area.

According to that map there, the swim from the colony to wyldwater would not be much longer than the swim from wyldwater to the blighted island. Which isn't too far.
