Self-serving as shit but

Would it be possible to make rothe/animal meat count as units of sacrifice to Slp'slp'glrp'alshlpt? Also, it might be worth making them count as a little more than two units, as I found out when placing great lizard meat into the sacrificial pool.

I know this is low scale and very minor as well, but it would be nice if you could put gems in the donation pot (same goes for any donation pot) for a set value of coin depending on the value of the gem. This would be a cool way to actually make use of gems in our setting other than something to sell to merchant x for 5 or 10 gold, or to save up to use as a bartering tool on DM event etc.

We all enjoy farming easy/ opportunistic stuff for XP, but it probably shouldn't be extended without drawbacks (like lairs that can be crushed).

Spiffy Has

Put the offering pull very close to Slrp and let them take acid dmg for shoving it in him. :P

Apocryphal Misconceptions

We like to hurl objects at it from a distance. Acid damage equals engulfing equals more food for the foodgod. Undesirable progress, at its current growing rate.

It is actually more difficult to go out into the wilds to gather the heavy animal meats than to safely farm the rats in the sewers for the same reason. It is self serving but mostly because it encourages oozies and friends to go out to find bigger things to sacrific than rats alone (arguably,  no further incentive is needed. I for one was unaware that it accepted animal meat to begin with).

A rat (0.5 LBS) gives 1 point & 10 XP up until a certain level
A Deep Lizard  (30-50 LBS?) apparently gives 2 points & 20 XP up until the same level.

If that could be upped to say, 5-10 points,  people will hopefully feel more encouraged to go out and be awesome despite their low level. It is infinitely better than busting rats all day!
