Seeking a bit of help

Oh does it feel great to be back! First let me say thank you to any and all of you awesome people who work hard on this module to make it the best damn thing since fire. I was a little suprised to see everything changed from Escape from Underdark but im really looking forward to re-learning everything. Im having two slight issues with the game though that I am hoping someone can help me with. The first is I had to get a new laptop and lost my old email account so I requested new cd keys from gog and it seems that they are not compatible with most modules. I did not request a multiplayer key and just asked for cd keys. I requested the multiplayer cd keys so i am hoping that fixes the issue. The second problem I am having is in game when I hit enter button it does not activate my text box. I have to use my mouse and click in the text box and it is a pain. Anyone with any suggestions will be blessed by the gods for 12.3 years  Thanks guys and have a great day!

On occasion, I get an odd problem with NWN where I can't click on anything. It usually happens on startup for me, but sometimes it crops up when I tab out. The workaround to this problem is to tab out, then tab back in. That usually clears the bug. Try using Alt-Tab to escape NWN and then use it a second time to get back into full screen mode. That might fix it.

Also, try adding the following line to your nwn.ini file under the [Display Options] section:

Code Select Expand

[Display Options]
AllowWindowedMode=1
Even if that doesn't fix the problem, it will at least allow you to use Alt-Enter to switch to windowed mode.

Hey thanks that really helps! Unfortunately it didnt solve my chat box problem. Ah well. So whats the deal with the cd key dm area...I have brand new multiplayer keys from GOG. Really thanks for the help though.

Contact me or another DM on IRC to help you out with the CD key issue. It's probably because you made the PC with one set of cd keys, and then logged on with another. Due to security reasons, characters that do this are frozen until a DM can verify that it's the rightful owner.

You can login to IRC using an irc client or going to darkmyst.org and then webchat.
