Custom Fullplate Options expansion

Hello friends,

I believe that we need a couple additions to the wonderful and intuitive custom fullplate making experience in the market hall and other places.

First of all, it would be swell if we had access to the torso model that was a rounded out breastplate. It's the one the dormant mudman fullplate has for a torso section.

Secondly, it seems we are missing the full Tabard if such is desired in the custom forging options for some reason. I believe not having the cloth dangly bit takes a great deal away from the enjoyment of the more visually vain members of the community such as myself.

From my understanding, robe options are all or nothing and unfortunately it is not desirable to have a host of full plates disguised as robes on the server. While these have been given to people in the past, it is not something we want everyone to be wearing especially for the more oocly beneficial reasons that some people will use them for.

I do sympathize, though. Full tabards are much more aesthetically pleasing.

I would like to believe that the EFU population is mature enough to not make robe fullplate if told not to do it.

I'm all for that.

Visual appreciation of one's own character correlates with the enjoyment/motivation to play him, it's a big factor.

Just add a warning when initiating customization of the robe/tabard. If you guys are so concerned, something such as this should dissuade any hesitant person...

Just do an experiment.

I would like to make abundantly clear that I do in fact take mechanically worse armor if it has a tabard over much better taborless armor because tabards are pretty and they make me feel like a pretty princess!

And while this comment was phrased in a joking manner, I am not kidding, I am serious.  Tabards rock and we need more of them!  Plus well... a lot of armor models in NWN are ugly but the ones with tabards all look pretty good!

You will pry the tabard off my armor when you get it from my cold, dead hands!

Some visual appearances are kept in DM hands and for faction uses especially, that's been the deal for years, and I am not sure if it'll change. It certainly is not going to be looked too keenly any time soon.

Can we please have tabard's yet in custom armor creation stations please? It just makes the dated graphics so much easier on the eyes.

It's a custom armour. A tabard makes complete sense for someone who is paying thousands of gold to custom make an armour to stand out and make an image for themselves.

I get DM's wanna save tabards for epic loot and shit, but it logically makes no sense and if players wanna spend an insane amount of gold to personalize their PC, sacrificing potentially awesome stats from quest/dm gear, then why not give them a damn tabard that I could make IRL in 5 minutes with an old T-shirt? >_>
