Adrastos Trouvaille, the Retired Archaeologist.

He hasn't died proper, but I am retiring him.

I've unfortunately lost interest and drive to play him. Despite being a fun character, mechanically I haven't enjoyed him, and all his close buddies who know what he's gone through have gone kaput. Combination of that and some other things have made it really hard for me to get excited to play him.

Despite that though, he's been one of my longer-lived characters! The only one I believe that beats his time is my first character I made on EFU:M, Garrett. Quite a while, given that I prefer short-run characters so I can attempt to catch up with all the concepts I have running through my head!

A big thank you to Caster for the fantastic Prelude that popped him into existence, along with the running plot that kept me interested in keeping the character long after what would have been his actual lifespan! Sune is probably one of my favourite deities, and I'm excited to see where the plot will go - one way or the other.

A number of characters and their players are to thank as well! In no particular order: Krenshaw and the Sunite gang, Tacitus, Logan Ackerman, Agent Sumner, Rendirk Stoutheart, Corinne Gloomwalker, Edgar Flint, Nina Miles, a number of LOYAL AUXILLARY, and everybody else I haven't noted. You guys all rocked, and played various roles in his character development!

Adrastos was a Chondathan. Born in Cormyr, but spent much of his live traveling since he came of age. Got a proper adventuring license, and went on his way around the interior of Faerun before going to various lands of the world. Eventually he tended towards becoming a career archaeologist, a curiosity sparked by his loyalty to Oghma - and a lesser extent, Sune.

He lived a good couple decades of an interesting life before the Darkening happened - which happened while he was in Waterdeep. He banded together with a number of survivors from the Temple of Beauty, and that is the group he came to Sanctuary with.

Lots of things have happened in the ~120 hours I've played him, and a good number of them are spoiler-y as far as the plot with the Sunite Ruby goes. But I will leave you all with a couple of screenies that aren't full of spoilers!

Adrastos was a great PC to go head-to-head with Gwen and probably holds the sole responsibility for getting her to join in on the hunt purely to spite him!

Adrastos was an interesting character, enjoyed interacting with him on Tacitus and putting him through Watcher training. Sad to see him go.
