Boosting Divination

I guess it would be nice to have some boons related to Divination in order to boost the school. I am not sure which would be the easier and better way of doing so, but I guess already that making it a spell would encumber the already encumbered and bugged list of new spells that do not work (nerfed scry, rouse and recall, I'm looking at you).

Thinking it as an ability, then, I guess that a caster (be it from any class) with GSF Divination could have some of the following abilities (maybe they could choose up to three when they get GSF):

[LIST=1]
  • Tracking
  • Detect Aligment (the four possible alignment available, but they would be able to choose a limited assortment, maybe?)
  • Examine Mark
  • Detect Poison
  • Detect Disease
  • Others???

Sort of rehashing old ideas to add on this, but one is GSF diviners (maybe explicitly for wizards who lose illusion spells) gain lore from Identify as if it was default. Short 2 round bonus to maybe help with reading a specific page in a tome. Or allow them to re-roll a failed lore check. Anything to give spellcasters a reason to cast Identify really. This spell is sort of a waste for anyone other than fighters with no lore drinking it as a potion.

Feeblemind duration for GSF divination changing from 1 round/2 levels to longer. Default duration is not very long to rp the spell. Or make the effects of having their mind destroyed be semi-permanent and need a remove curse or Restoration to bring back. Maybe increase the dice of it too with focuses?

Arcane Eye was removed and scrying has its own issues. There is an item out there which summons a temporary spoilery placeable for you to use when you cast Whispering Winds instead of the spells normal effect. Something similar to that could be used as a rare item that summons a scrying focus when you cast Arcane Eye.
