I know this was being talked about a while ago, But was this/can this still be implemented? It would be really super to play fighters/wizards/druids/rangers and such that actually have social skills.   Without having to hear "I multiclassed rogue/bard for the social skills, Really! Nevermind the additional mechanical bonuses, it was for the skills!"

I know this is possible, and very easy to set up in the overrides. And now we apparently have a system to make sure PCs are applying the proper amount of skillpoints at level-up - This seems like an easy add to me.

Can this be added, Please?

I don't know, there's a certain appeal to playing a pure fighter or pure wizard who manages to attain excellent social skills by really investing for it in the build.

Kiaring

Way more appeal in crushing Krunto characters with TS + Sneak Attack KD's, imo.

As a side note, not that I trust or even remotely believe what Cruzel says, but what does this mention of a system that "makes sure PCs are applying the proper amount of skillpoints at level-up" mean?

I can has fun?

He's talking about the anti-cheat system that was put in a few weeks ago.

Making it available for all classes would give access to them to low SP classes for whom it's more of a tricky choice. Combat/Bard or Rogue works well, Wizard or Sorc less so.

I've actually played a Wizard with good Persuade (Ahmed) who got by with crossclassing, 14 CH and being able to spare the skillpoints, but it would have been a lot better if he could have really invested in Persuade and not get out smart-talked by a L3 Bard.

It would be especially useful for Sorcs, who have high CH, nothing no class skills for it, and don't have the spare INT skillpoints to crossclass anyway.

Ebok

If possible, I would like to this happen. If for no better reason then to allow someone to more appropriately bump up skills they are using. There is no downside, unless the scripting of this would take someone forever.

The Beggar

I lover pure classes.
