Matteo Alabhast is dead, good riddance. He was a horrible attempt at becoming a Spellguard Agent, that suffered setback after setback, and then finally after immense frustration, and the straw that broke the camel's back - I got tired of playing a buff bot.

Darn, shame he came to be the buffbot you intended to avoid in the first place.

To improve your chances with a spellcaster type, next time I recommend going necromancer. Maybe a sorcerer with one of the necromantic perks.
