I suggest the feat "Thug" be altered to give +2 Initiative/+2 Intimidate, and not the +2 Initiative/+2 Persuade it gives currently.

I remember reading about this change somewhere, but it doesn't seem to be working, at least not for my latest character.

Easy

Sometimes things do not show on the character sheet, but will still apply when the roll is actually called for.  I would recommend double checking the combat log as this might be the case.

ScottyB

This is the first I've heard of any changes to Thug.

Also, the only ways I could think to even implement it would either cause problems investing ranks in intimidate, or possibly create problems stacking magical skill effects (although, no spells/potions increase intimidate anyways.)

Kiaring

Would this also cause problems with items that give bonuses to intimidate? There are a whole lot of those.

If this is a bother to script, forget about it. I just thought it'd make more sense for thugs to be, well, thuggish, instead of suave sweet-talkers. >_>

A simple -2 persuade, +2 intimidate skill adjustment on the hide or whatever of the PC should work fine Scotty, and I think it's worth doing. Low priority though.

Heck make it +3 intimidate if anyone bothers to do this.

Snoteye

This might be a good time to point out that we can't infinitely apply (skill) bonuses to hides. I'm already considering how to best handle the inevitable conflicting of two systems. It isn't necessarily impossible, just requires some very careful planning.

Cruzel

Maybe giving the PC an addition item in creature weapon slot 3 and applying the bonusses to that? EFUSRE (maybe?) wouldn't touch that one, allowing the PC to retain the bonuses. Druids/shifters would lose the skills when shifted but otherwise it should work?

el groso

Low priority as it is, this seems to be rolling since 2009, so here's a *bump*. The -nearly- useless THUG feat, that is worth mainly for flavor purposes (and I bothered to take it in my current thug-like character), could use a tweak as to at least grant some intimidate bonus. (I think the +2 initiative is great, for it refers to a guy who's ready to strike to get what he wants)

Random_White_Guy

A fair bit of forum necromancy I know but as I've got a PC upcoming who will be using this perk I was just curious- With all the new perk implementations and similar is this even possible to alter?

I've every intention of taking the feat regardless of if it was changed or not but the +3 intimidate instead of +2 persuade seems far more thug style.
