Assasinations of the millita by G.J

These following paragraphs are an insight into the days of political unrest and turmoil during the assasinations of key figures of Galleous Albedos' millita.

Part one-Prelude

'Twas many months back that the third millita was founded headed by my friend, the wizard Galleous Albedos.  This millita was then taken over by Martin Farden and his officers.  (Note: I was actively involved in this millita for the sole reason of the safety of the Ziggurat, as this was a time when many nightrisers were assailing us).  The millita was a rather unnofficial group dedicated to the colony's defense and law.  The first assasination took place about 2-4 weeks after is founding with the death of Orik Ironhammer.  I can quite accurately inform you of this part of the history as I was there.  

Part two-The first death

I recall that I was out practicing with my apprentice when suddenly he informed me that he knew of a library in the ruins of the temple district.  Suddenly interested in this discovery I asked him to show me.  Upon arrival my apprentice showed me the building which was selead tight, though he claimed to have been in.  After trying several spells on the door I thought to seek help from my friend and fellow millitaman Orik Ironhammer.  I found him inside the millita barracks (now the Guard Stronghold).  After a quick conservation he agreed to help with the door.  However between all three of us we still could not open the door.  But looking around we realised the Temple District could be a good place to establish a mages guild headquaters (a small project of mine at the time).  As we were directly in front of the Temple of Targus we decided to look in there.
My apprentice had headed off on an errand to find a lockpicker for the library door, this left Orik and I to search around.  I went inside the temple and waited a few minutes for Orik to follow. After a couple minutes I realised something was wrong.  Dashing outside I discovered his body laying upon the steps bleeding heavily.  I attempted to aid him but it was too late.  Suddenly a man leapt from the shadows beating me to the ground with a great sword...
My apprentice arrived and the man jumped him too.  I stayed down waiting for a chance to drink an invisibility potion and make a dash for it.  I waited a few more minutes and then stood up glancing around I wondered about the motive for the attack and why he hadn't slain me.  My apprentice was also alright though covered with a number of bumps and cuts.  I told him to head to the city and warn people while I carried Orik's things away to stop any thieves grabbing them.  His bodied weighed to much for me to lug so I headed back for help.
