Dear Preparator Tariq,

Ahead of the memorial service tomorrow, I would be grateful if you may consider the following arrangements:

We begin the service in the Under-Well by the Waters, where words and a tale are briefly shared about the dead. A torch-lit procession then moves from the Under-Well to the Maqam, where a gravestone is raised and each attendee is invited to share a few words of farewell. Thereafter, a final word from you as Preparator before ending the memorial service.

It is hoped that this would be symbolic of life beginning with the Sacrifice of B'aara, to give Life unto the World; the passage of Life through the World, shepherded by Kula; and finally, the ebb of Life, to the Edutu, and to the final resting place at the Maqam in the shelter of the Martyrs.

I would be happy to discuss the arrangements further before the memorial service at your convenience.

Thank you!

With humble gratitude,
Acolyte Seriyah
