Greetings from Stellar Stanley!

I am a humble man who earns his bread via readings of the disc's Tarot! By grace of the magnanimous Mister Moretti, I find myself with a room in the Krak des Roses.

I was instructed by one of your own Nadiri to write to you seeking a License, and Mister Moretti requested that I include a transcription of a reading performed tonight at the Krak, as follows:

The inquirer asked as to the fate of one Argent Argyris, and the configuration used was a Gallow's Crossroad. The inquirer selects four numbers between one and twenty two, and the reader draws them in the following array.

Weal, Woe, Today, Tomorrow, and the Fifth Draw.

The cards drawn were The Empress Reversed, the Six of Blades, Justice Reversed, the Ten of Cogs and the Nine of Bones.

The first card in this array is meant to represent the forces arrayed in benefit of the central figure. The card drawn was the Empress, Reversed. Normally a card that portends wisdom, order, peace and fertility, for it represents qualities of motherhood and queendom. Reversed, it turns itself into tyranny, hovering over its wards, smothering and controlling. An odd card to read as Weal in this circumstance. I must simply assume there is some measure of control exerted by this Argent that represents power to be feared.

The second card was the Six of Blades. Blades being the suit of air that represents ideas, reason and logic combined with the number associated with Frustration. The inability to face a test or conflict. The knot around the new soldier's throat, or the tremble of the student presenting their life's work to the master. Together these are often read as an inability to let go of the past, a dolorous transition, fear of the unknown and the need for acceptance. In this position, it seems to indicate the central figure knows of a difficult step they must take, but refuses, either out of trepidation or doubt. This delay is most assuredly pernicious. This card was taught to me to mean "A difficult skin to molt".

The third card was Justice, reversed. The wroth's presence in the array normally portends of debts being repaid, vigilance, equanimity and balance, the satisfaction of grudges. Reversed, however, it is turned into  a vengeful thing, a creature of cold ledgers that requires every last pound of flesh to be repaid, the tyranny of tradition, the dead word of the law. It would appear this Argent inhabits a labyrinth build out of the corpse of tradition, and he does so well. These strange esoteric rules and expectations become mere instrument to the central figure.

The fourth card was the Ten of Cogs. The tenth card of the lesser arcana represent an ascetic closing of a process, and the suit of Cogs represents earth and the material. In combination this can be intepreted as a permanent loss of material power and ability, such as banishment, ruin or the such. Worrisome, as it is read as the future!

The fifth draw, which is the central figure itself, in this case this Argent, is drawn as the Nine of Bones. The ninth of a particular suit is meant to represent a good ending, a bountyful harvest. Bones is the suit of fire, the element of power and energy. This combination speaks of a fount of power, potence and transformative energy in abundance. Drawn in this position, it would place Argent as either an imbued presence, a locus of power, or a reaper of energy in the same sense a farmer reaps the harvest. This card meaning a specific bounty, it could also mean the central figure's place in the world is about to change by the conclusion of certain pacts or endeavors.
