I hope that this letter finds you well. Apologies for the dryness of word and stale stationery, but I am contacting you in a more bureaucratic capacity than usual.

Ephia's Well is marching to the horrid wasteland of the Scald soon, and as such, requires a great deal of resources. The State and the War Council would like a price quote on the following, in quantities befitting an army:

• Flamewing moth silk.
• Devil frog skin leather.
• Any other such materials bearing insulating properties, fit for uniforms.

I know that the first two – especially the very first – are scarce resources, yet if used efficiently they could perhaps equip enough for the march ahead. If you have any relevant suggestions, feel free to make them, of course, especially if you know foremost tailors and leatherworkers capable of achieving such a task.
