Dear Mister Recruitment Sergeant,

My name is Rojan Duskwood.  I have seen your recruitment poster.  I want to enlist to help win the War.  I have been trained by Segarus the Maimed.  He taught me two important things: First, "In times like these, we all must become Soldiers".  Secondly, "A good Soldier lives through action.  He does not think about action.  Nor, does he think about what he will think, when he is finished with acting."

As for professional recommendation's, I have received one.  I have received the recommendation of the most powerful wizard I have ever seen, Tarek Mar'Alzar's.  He thinks I would be a GREAT SOLDIER.  He and I ventured together deep within a Trog pit.  We brought lasting justice to all the bastard creatures within. – I-, even recovered something special for Lt. Rennik Colmes from the filthy claws of the chieftain Trog. 

I pen this missive to express my strong desire interest in enlisting.
