Thank you for hosting yet another dazzling show of fashion! I have a query for you, related to fabric, but something that is somewhat different from the usual.

One of my many duties requires a great deal of silk. Durability is most important here, so I was originally thinking of tussah. However, the project in question especially asks for resilience against fire and flame... So, I was thinking of flamewing silk.

I understand that both are exceedingly rare resources, yet would you happen to know any suppliers that deal in either, or a suitable alternative? As the project in question is funded by the state, the budget is unfortunately strict, so any cheaper substitutes with similar qualities (lightness, durability, heat resistance) would be welcome.

I don't do anything cheap, I'm afraid. If you require a great deal of Baz'eel fine silks I can arrange a delivery, a spool comes at five thousand dinar, but for you, I could do four thousand.

As for keeping away flame, this flamewing silk would indeed be useful for you, but rare. I do know a few people that could arrange to gather it, but it would take a bit of time and again, more dinar. For five thousand dinar I could arrange for as many spools as my contacts could manage. I imagine at least six.
