After talking with a few PCs about the nature of Djinn and more I got to wondering - What if the Druid Class, was given an Application Only option to become Channelers of Djinn?

Fundamentally speaking it would simply require a wanding of the user to a summon theme for appropriate court, then they would have things like -

Summonable Djinn, Stealth, Elemental Spells (which they can align to their Court of Choice via their Application), and similar to the Druids of the world they can exist and manipulate within the boundaries of Society and Beyond which feels fundamentally how most Djinn/Brooker PCs operate.

It would basically be a parallel class - Druids tip towards Balance, Djinn tip toward imbalance.

It would simply be instead of "Nature" and "Balance" bestowing their powers, it would be the Djinn they have made their Pact with (Via the application).

Mundane or Non-Druidic individuals, due to their brooking, given strange and unusual powers over the Natural World and beyond?

But still like Druids would be bound to an Oath (Or in this case their Pact).

As it says on the Wiki

QuoteRegardless, all druids should generally adhere to the following guidelines lest they lose their strange powers:

So for each Court, maybe some written guidelines/etc? That they must follow or lose their powers.

Druids being kinda like warlocks but Djinn themed would be a cool way to give druids a unique hook in the setting that isn't secret, and probably make more people want to play them. Could even bring in classic druid spells as custom spells, like Summon Insects to feel kinda like a swarm of gnats and it is just a ranged Combust that does physical + fire damage, at 1d6 physical damage +1 fire damage per caster level. Other cool ones could be Flame Blade, Cloak of Fear, Insect Plague.
How long, Catiline, will you continue to abuse our patience?

This would be very cool. I like the level of suspicion it would bring to stanard druids.
