Esteemed doña Aaisha,

As you well know, I find myself in a state of self-employment. This, of course, is teaching me the value of having a salary. Or endless familiar wealth, I suppose.

I was wondering if perhaps you'd have the time for some small meeting. I am interested in gauging the attention of art-collectors in the Well, and have, evidently, thought of you. I find myself in posession of several fascinating pieces, as well as historical relics... And lacking the coin to fund all of my projects. No doubt, some business could be arranged between us both.

Needless to say, a large collection would not only be a beautiful and unique display of wealth... But also an entertaining snub towards the Tower. Their claim that the Shade is powered by old pottery never ceases to amuse, does it?

While business remains of interest (as you well know, a Magistrate's salary is not luxurious), I would like to pick your mind on matters of Legislature. I am of course already most familiar with the basic texts, but I'd love to run a few ideas through you, and to listen to your opinions.

I would enquire also whether you have had any success in retrieving the second Edict we have discussed at length, the Cabinet awaiting it and it's sibiling stand bare and I do so hate the wastefulness of it.
