Adjust animal companion death timer

So I have been playing a Beast Tender druid and having a blast with it, rocking out with my animal companion on the front line. But now that I've started doing some of the higher level quests I noticed it's a difficult task to keep my companion alive if I want them to participate in combat.

This is partially due to the fact that the AI is difficult to control and enjoys going on suicide runs.

For druids, some perks more than others, animal companions are a big part of their kit. With the current 'death timer' of 24 Real Time hours it can be discouraging when they eat a nasty crit or a couple fireballs and end up going down before you can react.

Because for the rest of the day/reset you're left to play without them.

I'm presuming the timer was set high to encourage players to treat their companions well, and not just as another summon. But for the above stated reasons I feel it's a bit too harsh currently.

I won't say to remove timers, but maybe we can lower them a bit? If not globally, then maybe just for the perks that rely on them.
